In an enclosed basement
I'm dirty and scruffy and far from home.
I scream, I shout,
but there is no use as I am far from home.
I'm scared, I'm frightened and miss my home.
The feel the heavy chains on my weak hands
the growl in my stomach gets louder and louder.
I'm lost and far from home
no food in my tummy, no water to drink.
I'm enclosed in this basement
no fresh air to breath
I long to be free.
I'm lost and far from home...
